Terms of use

The short version: PeakTraders is a free game played with virtual credits. Play fair and have fun.

These terms are a plain-language starting point. Have them reviewed by a lawyer for your jurisdiction before launching publicly.

1. The service

PeakTraders is a trading simulation game. All prices, balances, trades and results are simulated. The service does not offer, and must not be used as, a real trading, investment or gambling service.

2. Virtual credits

Credits are virtual, have no monetary value, and cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, goods or services.
We may change starting balances, reset balances, or adjust markets, bots and contracts at any time.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use PeakTraders.
Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
One account per person. Do not create accounts to get extra credits.

4. Fair play

Do not attempt to exploit bugs, automate the service, interfere with the price engine, or access other players' data. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. No advice

Nothing on PeakTraders is financial, investment or tax advice. Performance in the game does not predict results in real markets.

6. Availability

The service is provided as is. When the server restarts, open trades may be voided and their stakes refunded.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use PeakTraders after a change means you accept the new terms.
